Comment: I agree with this excellent review. The acting is entertaining but the premise is preposterous. This film will not aid your understanding of Shakespeare in any way. 

Do not waste your time on this film at least not until your summer vacation.

 

The question of Shakespeare's sonnets and the nature of the love expressed in them to the black-haired mistress and fair youth will be known to readers of the sonnets.
