Why Shakespeare loved iambic pentameter - David T. Freeman and Gregory T...
I found this video extremely interesting as it throws some light upon the reasons Shakespeare chose the Iambic Pentameter. I also think that he not only chose it because of its connection to the human heartbeat but also because the heart is where Passion and Emotion come from, which are some of the most powerful feelings.
